STEP 3. Finally, your file owner will liaise with all third parties such as the bank, the other side’s solicitor and other authorities to lay the groundwork for settlement.

When it’s all done, we’ll arrange for a settlement clerk to attend Settlement (where the property ‘officially’ changes ownership) on your behalf to make sure there are no last-minute hiccups. And because our Head Office is just a two-minute walk from the main Victorian settlement centres, if there are any issues the lawyer will walk over and sort them out on the spot.
